Adobe Acrobat Formatted Files
Many files on theOATC website end in .PDF - this means they are available in the Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format files. Acrobat files can be read on your computer screen, or printed, using the Adobe Acrobat Reader available free from Adobe.



Microsoft Word Formatted Files
An alert window will pop up notifying you that the document has been accessed and is ready to be downloaded. There will be 2 options available to choose from:

  • Open it
  • Save it to disk

If you choose the option "Open," the document will open and will be available for viewing/printing in Microsoft Word. At this point, the document is only "temporary" and has not been saved to your computer. Any changes/additions you make will be lost once you close out of the form. To save the document, please follow the instructions below.

If you choose the option "Save," the "Save As..." dialog will appear. Select the appropriate drive and directory to store the form. After the form is saved, you can open the document in Microsoft Word and type directly on the form and then email it, or print it out.
