Foam Core Page Fluffers

Foam Core Page Fluffers are attached to the pages of a book, making it easier for someone with physical disabilities to turn the pages.  Because the page fluffers are attached with paperclips, you can easily move them from book to book as needed.

Materials needed: 

  • Foam Core (note:  you can often get FREE scraps of this from Kinko’s or other stores that offer Foam Core Mounting services).
  •  Paperclips
  • Scissors

               

1. Cut the foam core into strips that measure   approximately 1-inch in width.

2. Cut the 1-inch foam core strip into squares that measure approximately 1 inch by 1 inch.

3. Insert the short loop of a paperclip between the outer paper and the foam in the middle.

4. Voila!  Place the page fluffer on the pages of the book you want to ‘fluff’!  Page fluffers can be removed and moved to other books as needed.
